Processed foods should be avoided if all possible. They are filled with empty calories and tons of preservatives. You will feel a huge difference in your health and energy if you replace processed foods with whole foods. Fruits and vegetables should be a staple of any diet. Fruits and vegetables provide a wide range of vitamins and nutrients that the body needs. Try to shop at farmer’s markets to get the freshest produce that is in season. When eating bread products look for ones made with whole grain. Your body also needs protein to function properly. Eat lean protein such as skinless chicken breast. Fish, such as salmon, is also a very healthy choice.

With these changes to your diet you may notice that you lose weight, have clearer skin, and healthier hair. But the biggest difference will be in how you feel. Eating fresh, healthy food will give you more energy, and make you feel great.
