There are a number of ways that you can save money while reducing your daily calorie intake, but here are just a few to help you get started.
Cook at Home More Often
Restaurant food is full of calories. In many cases, you could cook the exact same meal at home and cut the calorie amount in half because of the way the food is cooked. Not only will you cut the calories, but you’ll save a ton of money by eating at home.
Eat Less Meat
Meat is probably the most expensive element of any meal so it’s obvious that if you eat less meat that you will save money. Don’t worry about losing protein because you can find plenty of protein in fish, eggs and beans!
Think Green
If you like leafy greens such as broccoli, spinach, collards, etc. then you can not just save money but limit your calories as well. Leafy greens are by far the most expensive food that you can purchase and are probably the healthiest as well. Plus, it doesn’t take a large amount of time or effort to prepare them.
Shop at Your Local Farmer’s Market
